Re: "Fattening up the nanny state -- Nutrition info on menus is meddling that doesn't work, says Steve Chapman," Wednesday Viewpoints. Chapman is another short-sighted columnist. Our granddaughter has Type 1 diabetes and needs to know nutritional information on restaurant food. It will make a big difference as she grows up if her food choices can be the same as her friends' because she can make informed choices. I applaud the restaurants for their efforts.
